About
Globis are large aquatic beasts that live throughout the Anarkis ocean. Although they appear similar to the Ocean Scrags of same ocean, they do in fact, belong to separate biological families. The Globis with its large face and dual sets of eyes that are smaller than the scrag, is easier to distinguish, while morphological differences are more difficult to spot from a reasonable distance.
The most obvious external differences are visible on the head, with Globis having narrower and smaller eyes that are not as bright or distinct. In addition the eyes are more dense and match the overall aggressive appearance of the Globis. Another obvious trait is that the upper and lower jaws of the Globis are wider, larger, and envelope a mouth that has a razor-like set of teeth, which the creature is not shy in sharing when in the presence of other lifeforms.
Globis are slightly larger, but not by much. They are predatory and are excellent hunters. They hunt anything and everything in the Anarkis Ocean and have cannibalistic tendencies when starvation is present. Whilst they are native to the Anarkis Ocean, and have been for many an era,
Globis have been found in other regions. Quite what has driven them to explore the furthest reaches of Anarkand is still unknown, but the suggestion that a lack of food could be the cause, has long been disputed by Andromanian marine biologists.
