About
The scourge of Qasra, this native species are fierce predators especially in numbers, and are highly effective trackers and hunters. They possess a keen desire to protect, feed, and satiate their queen at all times, and will sacrifice themselves for the queens survival.
There are only two types of creature within the hive itself, spawn and queens. They don't have a plethora of variants like other hive-based species. There are no hunters, gatherers, workers, etc. Instead, the hive work in all areas for the common goal. Andromanian scientists have always suggested that there could be other subspecies, but as of yet, these have not been discovered. In time, further research may yield other subspecies.
Hivespawn are bipedal, slightly smaller than humans. Queens have many arms, legs, fingers, eyes, feet, ears and hands. Ironically, barely any of these function as expected. Hivespawn queens are always female and are roughly the size of a four-story building. Impregnation is accomplished via the transfer of essence from 50-60 hivespawn. Just a few short Earth months later, 100-130 hivespawn will be birthed.
The people of Qasra try their utmost to keep the population of Hivespawn in check, but are fighting a losing battle. They have reached out to the Temple of Anark and the 12e Alliance for help, but none has been forthcoming. Qasrans have warned the rest of the world that if they do not receive help now, then the world will face a future of regret.
