The Pescarans are hunter / gatherer, warrior bipeds native to the country they are named after, Pescara. They are a formidable, heavily tribal race of inhabitants who are extremely skilled in forest and mountain survival and the construction of primitive technology like bows and arrows, catapults, wood traps and more. They are respected throughout Anarkand and the stories that are told the world over always feature hardship, bravery, and courage when facing adversity.



The Pescarans are very quick learners when exposed to new technology, new weaponry, and new problems. They can adapt quickly to new environments and new situations without any hassle. The Pescarans enjoy a great relationship with the Marakai to the south, whose conservation efforts have ensured that they can thrive.



The Kahns, native to Baraniendemor, have been desperate for many centuries to displace the Pescarans and take from them the very land their ancestors have enjoyed habiting in relative peace. The Kahns have attacked the Pescarans on numerous occasions and have killed countless natives.
