Fearsome denizens of the Anima Ocean and occasional wanderers of the North and South Turrican Oceans, are a species of shark-like creatures that have roamed the waters of Anarkand since the 2nd era. With a high population, they are among the most numerous predators of the oceans, renowned for their prowess as natural-born killers.


Viccaria boast an array of physical traits that make them well-suited for their predatory lifestyle. Their most striking feature is their massive, razor-sharp teeth, which are perfectly adapted for tearing through flesh and bone. With three pairs of eyes, Viccaria possess exceptional visual acuity. Two large eyes capture ambient light, allowing them to navigate the depths of the ocean, while two additional eyes possess something akin to night vision, enabling them to hunt effectively in low-light conditions. Finally, two forward-facing eyes provide binocular vision, enhancing their ability to track and ambush prey with precision.


They are highly adaptable predators, capable of thriving in a variety of marine environments. While they are most commonly found in the depths of the Anima Ocean, where their population is particularly dense, smaller groups of Viccaria can occasionally be encountered in the North and South Turrican Oceans, though such sightings are rare. Preferring to hunt alone or in small groups, Viccaria are known for their relentless pursuit of prey, exhibiting cunning tactics and ambush strategies to secure their next meal.
